Does anyone know if this was a legit Renault commercial? I was watching a JayEmm on Cars review of the very rare Renault Avantime (manufactured by Matra, btw), and wanted to see if there was a EuroNCAP crash test available online. So far, I’ve only come across videos of the successor Renault Espace.
If you’re curious, here’s the review:
Seems like it would be a really cool & quirky vehicle to import. Then again, I’m not Canadian.

Ever since Top Gear did their Avantime racecar bit, I’ve always thought they were cool. Weird, but cool.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha *breaths* hahahahahahahaha. The visuals of crash testing a baguette are just so wacky. I love it!

Seems like the ad was initially for Renault Germany and made by a German company.
A rubbery baguette is definitely not a great sight, it should be crispy !

Who knew a sausage would fare so much worse than a baguette in an impact?

Crash safety performance is greatly influenced by the inclusion (or not) of explosives...at least, that was my take!

In my experience, p ieces of bread dough not sustain much damage in impacts so you may be right.

I feel the Dutch Gouda done better.
Bread is just a Pain, but at the same time, I guess we Knead more .
The sausage was never going to be the Wiener in this test. They are just old Bangers.

The Sushi felt like a fish out of water in this test. Maybe needed a Tuna up?

If only they had crash te sted a hamburger. It would have patty’d the test with flying colors. The others would have to play ketchup to even have a chance!
